LSU backup quarterback Ryan Perrilloux will not travel with the third-ranked Tigers to Tuscaloosa, Ala., where they will play No. 17 Alabama on at 4 p.m. on Saturday, LSU coach Les Miles said late Wednesday.

Miles also dismissed linebackers Derrick Odom and Jeremy Benton for the trio’s role in an altercation at an off-campus establishment, the school said. Odom had not played this year and Benton saw action in only four games.

Earlier this week Miles said Perrilloux would not practice with the Tigers as a result of last weekend’s incident.

“This incident it appears is winding down,” Miles said. ‘Our involvement is not to be condoned. There are a number of people at fault here including our guys and their judgement.”
