With three days left until No. 2 Florida and No. 1 Alabama square off in the SEC Championship Game, there’s still time for you to pick a winner.
So, who will it be? Florida? or Alabama?
Leave a comment and tell me who you want and why they’ll win.

In less than two weeks, Jim and Rosemary Slonina are scheduled to find out what punishment is in store for former Florida Gator safety Jamar Hornsby, who allegedly stole and used the gas card belonging to Ashley Slonina, who died on Oct. 12, 2007.

He’ll enter a plea on Dec. 15 in an Alachua County courtroom, which is expected to be either guilty or no contest. But it’s not the expected probation that will punish him, Jim Slonina thinks. It’s how the public will view the 21 year old.

“We don’t think it’s very fair and equitable, as far as the legal aspects,” Slonina said. “What a memory I would have had and still hae, but it only got complicated and abused with people that don’t care. There’s criminals, bad, bad criminals. Then there’s criminals that don’t care and crazy criminals. He doesn’t care.”

The Slonina’s will see Hornsby face to face for the first time in the courtroom. While they will face the judge, the Slonina’s words will be meant solely for Hornsby.

“His biggest pole vault in life will be to overcome the public’s understanding and the public’s despise of the unfortunate decision that he made,” Jim Slonina said. “While Rose may not always agree with me, I wish that the 21-year-old boy would turn out to be a super guy.”

There are some people out there willing to give Hornsby a second chance. He’s getting recruited by Ole Miss, Alabama and Kentucky out of East Mississippi Community College. He was second on the team with 111 tackles and had two interceptions.
