Enrique Davis update: Week 3

The former Mosley All-American got back on track this week with seven rushes for 36 yards in Mississippi’s 34-10 win over Samford.

He scored his second touchdown of the year with 11 minutes, 10 seconds left in the third quarter on a four-yard run that put the Rebels ahead 27-7. He averaged 5.1 yards per carry Saturday and had a long run of 14 yards.

For the season, Davis has 18 carries for 61 yards and two scores. He’s averaging 3.4 yards per carry and 20.3 yards per game.

Enrique Davis update: Week 2

Enrique Davis’ second college football game wasn’t as impressive as his first. The Mosley graduate rusehd for just 2 yards on five carries Saturday in a 30-28 loss to Wake Forest.

That’s a .2 yards per carry average.

He did gain 6 yards, but was recorded for losing five throughout the game.

The Rebels play Samford at 6 p.m. CDT on Saturday.

Davis debuts for Ole Miss

Former Mosley All-American Enrique Davis finally took the college football field Saturday for the Mississippi Rebels.

In his debut, Davis carried the ball six times for 24 yards, including a long run of 12 yards, and a touchdown. He was the fourth best rusher in a 41-24 win over Mephis.

Davis scored with 8:42 left in the second quarter on a 2-yard run to put the Rebels ahead 21-2.

Ole Miss plays at Wake Forest Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
